2010 Redistricting

Asian Pacific American City Council District Organizing Committee

Dear AP American Community Members and Leaders,

The Asian Pacific American City Council District Organizing Committee is part of the Asian & Pacific American Coalition (APAC). Members of the committee are volunteers and leaders from the various Asian and Pacific communities and organizations in San Diego. The immediate objective is to secure the establishment of the first Asian & Pacific Islander influenced new city council district in San Diego so as to protect the integrity and fair representation of the common interests of the diverse Asian and Pacific American community in the district through the San Diego’s redistricting process of 2010.

APAC sincerely welcome and appreciate the endorsement and support from all AP and non-AP American organizations and community activists for our cause. Such endorsement does not constitute the support of any political candidates by these organizations.

The following is a current list of local supporting APA organizations and have representatives working and making history together with the rest of the APAC volunteers.

Sincerely,

Mitz Lee & Dr. Allen Chan, Co-Conveners of APAC
